Add to Sheets is Now Available!
Add to Sheets, the Chrome extension that lets you quickly add content from the web to a Google Sheets spreadsheet, is now available in the Chrome Web Store!
We created Add to Sheets to help make it easier to save and organize information from the web. Whether you’re planning a wedding, tracking your budget, or saving notes from emails, Add to Sheets can help you save time and stay organized.
It can become very repetitive to copy and paste information from multiple browser tabs into a spreadsheet - or even multiple sheets and columns. With the extension, you can predefine the destination sheet and column where you want to insert the data, and then add content from any webpage with a right-click.
Types of content you can add to Google Sheets with Add to Sheets include:
- Selected Text - the text you’ve highlighted on a page
- Links - right click on a link to add the URL
- Images - the URL of the image is used to insert the image
- Page URLs - the URL of the page you’re on
- Text from editable areas like forms - the text you’ve typed into a text input area
